Sad -=- You made Adrian cry 8(
[[Hey, guys. I'm sorry for not being around.
To keep it short- lack of skill never stopped biting me on the bum. To the extent that the game has become more stressful than it is fun. That's why Adrian is never around as much as she should be.

So I'd like to (properly) step out for a bit. If you don't want character-sitting you can eject me. If you'd still have me though, I would like to try returning sometime down the track after making a proper effort to fix it up, and not wreck the game.

Either way, keep on being an awesome bunch of people.

Space, I'm sorry for dogging you a second time. I'll buy you a drink someday. Or a fortune cookie.]]

Eek!
Looming deadlines and late hours mean I'm running on much less sleep than I'd like to be now, and I may be guilty of indulging at times like these to keep myself going...I thought a box of fortune cookies on the way home earlier this evening ought to be harmless, but look at this dreadful thing that turned out to be inside!

What a horrible thing for a cookie to say! I...I haven't done anything! And I don't have a problem!...do I? I've never received such a discouraging fortune!

I really ought to remember to keep this journal updated...That said, there isn't a great deal to say about life at the moment. Work, naturally, keeps me very busy, particularly as the date of the luncheon is fast approaching--I love my work as much as anything but I'll admit I'm looking forward to wrapping up and perhaps the chance to get away, to properly enjoy the turn in the weather.

Speaking of which, I've been considering a little redecoration in the house for Spring. I'd like bring in a plant or two for the living room, though my knowledge of gardening is limited and I'm still looking into what would be suitable--preferably something that would be kind to an inexperienced caretaker.

Shoe seems to like the Spring. He spends hours at a time lounging in the sun by the window...some days I think I could join him, although I do wonder how he manages it without becoming bored.

Well...

Perhaps you've read of my terrible blunder from a few days ago.

I received a phone call from Mr. Schira this morning--from the sounds of things he was informed of what occurred during the site visit, and he's reluctant to allow me to continue handling the event.

I can't say I was not expecting this might happen... but even so, the business...

Shattered
I know it! Disaster follows me everywhere and waits to strike only at the worst possible moment!

...It must have been weeks now I've managed to avoid such misfortune--and then this...!

This morning... this morning I had a site visit scheduled for the Francheville luncheon--out at the Bar Lake, it's a fairly grand place for its size. And I-- I upset the flower vase on the reception desk!!

No, don't laugh, please! I-it shouldn't have happened! I'd only stooped down to help a woman there pick up something she'd dropped, and--I must have misjudged because all of a sudden my head knocked against something and down it came. Right onto the tiling, and smashed into a hundred pieces!

I know, I know, it's only a vase! But everyone in that lobby saw what happened! What halfway respectable establishment would trust a clumsy professional on its premises twice?! And Mr. Schira has been so set on the Bar Lake. I...I'll have to find an ornaments store and buy them a new vase!!

It has been a while, hasn’t it? I do apologize for having not used this journal as often as I should have recently. Anyway, it’s good to be back and to see others here as well. It’ll be nice to be able to hear from you all again.

Certain circumstances prevented me from being able to attend the … celebrations, in person, earlier this month; but rest assured that I did not miss the news.

All I will say here is that it was not undeserved.

To move along, work has been keeping me fairly busy, but I don’t mind it; at least it means the business is going well and I have work! We just closed up a second exhibition over at the art gallery a few days ago—this was a collection of paintings by a German gentleman—I’m very pleased to say it went off without any hitches, and there were some really wonderful pieces of work on display. It almost inspired me to try painting, myself. One day maybe, ha ha. I’ve been contacted as well by a group who want to discuss the organization of some sort of fan convention further down the track, so I suppose that may be one of my next jobs.

On that note—Franziska, it’s nice to see you back here too, and I hope work isn’t turning out too hectic for you at the moment. I have some spare time now that the exhibition is over, so I’d be very happy to meet up with you when your schedule allows.
